Well once again I’ve let things slide on this site.
And now I pay the price – I can’t find all sorts of photos from various events.
In March we went skiing in Utah, we got some snow when we arrived and conditions were great the first few days, but gradually got mushier.
All in all, it was fun though – – if I find the photos I will bump this with them.
We got to see Soundgarden again – – and its always a real treat.
The line outside was several blocks long and temps were in the single digits.
Luckily we were about midway in the line and got in just a couple minutes before they started to play.
They seemed really excited to be playing new material and also bringing back older songs that haven’t been played in decades.
And of course, they sounded fantastic.
I won’t drag on and on, but the setlist was great, their music was great.

For new years we drove up to Stamford to see Steve’s new townhouse and go see the Hobbit!
To top if off after The Hobbit, we watched Fellowship of the Ring!
Having sufficiently geeked out, we drove home and took a silly picture of Leif…

For our last concert of the year we went and saw Halestorm at the Wellmont.
We went to dinner around the corner first and had some nice italian food then got to the show right before start.
Good thing, too, because Halestorm’s opener was Halestorm, acoustic!
We forgot to bring the camera again so here’s a couple crappy pictures from my phone ><
Halestorm seemed to really enjoy themselves and with a happy crowd it was a really fun night.

Madison’s birthday is on Decembter 29th so we went and visited them all and had a little lego building party.
It was good to see them and I think everyone had fun.
